Executive Officers

Micky Whalen, President

Micky Whalen got his first job at age 8 making boxes in a chili parlor. He did not realize that he would spend the next 47 years providing guests with meals and telling them to have a nice day. He feels incredibly lucky to be able to operate Perkin's Restaurant & Bakery in his hometown. Micky always tells his kids that what you do for a living doesn't define who you are, how you do it does. Micky has called North College Hill home for over 50 years. He is honored to serve as vice president of the NCHBA.
